The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for people affected by autism. We provide a wide range of advice, information, support and specialist services to 100,000 people each year and campaign and lobby for lasting positive change for people affected by autism.

Our Surrey service requires bank support workers [what is bank work?] to join a new team supporting people of all ages with autism in Surrey. The successful candidates will work with people with autism in our range of residential and supported living services, day services, youth projects and outreach services across Surrey.

Ideally, you will have experience of youth work and of supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

You will need to be enthusiastic and have a degree of flexibility in terms of where you might work and the kind of role you may be asked to fill. In return, we offer a fantastic training and developmental programme to help you grow your skills.

Applications are sought from all suitably qualified sections of the community but particularly welcome from those with a diagnosis of autism or Asperger syndrome.

All application forms to be returned to SERecruitment@nas.org.uk
